2025年1月、有馬温泉の温泉宿 高山荘 華野に誕生したプレミアムコーナースイート「大山蓮華」。そのベッドルームの壁面には、現代抽象画家・三嶋安住さんの作品が2点、静かに佇んでいます。
柔らかな色調と繊細な質感を湛えるこれらの絵画は、自然光にふと反射することで、空間全体に温もりと奥行きを添えます。美術愛好家でなくとも、その穏やかな佇まいに心を解きほぐされる方も多いはず。
この2点の絵画は、華野の館主が師事する華道家のおすすめの作品です。館主は「初めは抽象画の魅力が分からなかったが、時間が経つにつれて良さがわかり、今ではすっかり虜になってしまった」と語ります。

Quiet Art in the Bedroom — Paintings by Anjyu Mishima
n January 2025, Takayamaso Hanano in Arima Onsen unveiled its new premium corner suite, Ōyamarenge. On the bedroom wall, two paintings by contemporary abstract artist Anjyu Mishima rest in quiet harmony.
With their gentle colors and delicate textures, these works respond softly to natural light, adding warmth and depth to the entire room. Even guests unfamiliar with art often find themselves soothed by the calm presence these paintings create.
Both pieces were recommended by the ikebana master who mentors Hanano’s proprietor. “At first, I didn’t understand the appeal of abstract art,” the innkeeper reflects. “But over time, I came to appreciate it deeply, and now I’m completely captivated.”
