Check-in &
Welcome Drink

After check-in, guests are welcomed with a drink in the lounge.

Enjoy a moment of relaxation with local Hyogo craft beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drinks. The lounge features seasonal flowers and art, creating a tranquil atmosphere unique to Hanano. Gentle music and serene interiors help you forget the bustle of the city.

with Kinsen & Ginsen Hot Springs

In the evening, indulge in the luxury of soaking in "Kinsen"—one of Japan’s top three ancient hot springs—and its counterpart "Ginsen" in Arima.

Kinsen, a reddish-brown hot spring rich in iron and salt, has excellent heat retention and moisturizing properties, warming the body deeply and improving circulation. It helps relieve fatigue, cold sensitivity, joint pain, and also has antibacterial benefits.

After your bath, relax on the inner terracewhere you can feel the crisp outdoor air and savor the lingering warmth—marking the start of a luxurious healing night.

with Medicinal Cuisine

For dinner, we serve a special menu designed to be gentle on the body and ideal for hot spring therapy. Enjoy shabu-shabu made with premium Sanda beef.
The meal features medicinal and Japanese dishes crafted with locally sourced seasonal vegetables and mountain herbs, thoughtfully prepared to reduce strain on the digestive system. These dishes support digestion and promote overall wellness.

We also provide drinkable hot spring water, allowing you to enjoy the healing benefits of hot spring therapy from within, enhancing your overall refreshment and renewal.

Day 2

Medicinal Breakfast
to Awaken Body and Mind

On the second morning, guests gently warm up in mildly hot spring water that is easy on the body, enhancing circulation and the refreshing effects for both body and mind. Breakfast features medicinal cuisine made with seasonal ingredients, designed with nutritional balance in mind to stimulate metabolism and recharge energy from the morning.

The medicinal breakfast after soaking in the hot springs is specially designed to aid digestion and absorption, allowing nutrients to be distributed without burdening the body. It helps to balance your condition, ease daily fatigue and stress, and provide a refreshing start to your day.

Enjoy the Famous Spots of Arima

Yuzen Shrine

A historic shrine dedicated to the deity of hot springs. This sacred site offers insight into the origins of Arima Onsen and the culture of therapeutic bathing, making it a perfect place to start your journey.

Tsuzumigataki Park

A charming waterfall park in Arima Onsen where you can relax to the sound of flowing water. It is a peaceful natural retreat perfect for calming the mind.

Ultimate Indulgence:
Kobe Beef Dinner

On the second night, enjoy a luxurious kaiseki dinner featuring Kobe beef steak as the centerpiece, along with plenty of locally sourced vegetables and mountain greens.

Day 3

Morning Hot Spring Bath, Breakfast,
and Check-out

On the final day, awaken gently with a hot spring bath and enjoy a warm breakfast made with fresh local ingredients.
After breakfast, relax in the hot spring or sauna and enjoy the art and seasonal flowers before check-out.

At check-out, receive a cosmetic set containing hot spring minerals as a gift. It will leave you refreshed and recharged for your return to everyday life.

Cuisine

Dinner features seasonal kaiseki cuisine themed on “nourishing the body,” using plenty of fresh local vegetables.
Breakfast includes specialties such as freshly made yuba (tofu skin) using fresh soy milk delivered daily and freshly rolled dashi omelets.

Bath

Enjoy two types of hot springs—Kin-sen and Gin-sen—at the renovated “Hoshi no Yu” public bath, reopened in summer 2018, along with a panoramic view from the hilltop.

Upon arrival, we welcome you with matcha green tea and handmade Japanese sweets in the lounge.

We can hold your luggage and vehicle before check-in and after check-out.

Check-out is relaxed until 11:00 a.m.

Guests arriving by public transportation can use our free shuttle from Arima Onsen Station, the bus stop, or ropeway station.

  • We regret to inform you that the facility is not barrier-free. There are about 20 stone steps between the entrance and the bath area.
