Accommodation Terms

Article 1 (Application of the Terms)

  1. These Terms shall apply to all actions taken by users in using the "Accommodation Reservation Service" (as defined below), which is a room reservation service managed and operated online by our company as part of our "Membership Services." Users agree to these Terms and use the Accommodation Reservation Service accordingly.
  2. In the event that our company provides notices or instructions (hereinafter referred to as "Notices") on the Accommodation Reservation Service, such Notices shall constitute part of these Terms.
  3. We deem that users have agreed to these Terms by using the Accommodation Reservation Service.
  4. The Accommodation Reservation Service is part of our Membership Services, and for matters not stipulated in these Terms, the "Membership Service Terms of Use" shall apply. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Membership Service Terms of Use, these Terms shall prevail.

Article 2 (Definition of the Accommodation Reservation Service and Formation of Accommodation Agreement)

  1. The Accommodation Reservation Service refers to a service that enables users to make reservations for rooms registered in advance by the Company through the Internet.
  2. When the user makes a reservation for room usage via the Internet, and a "reservation number" is issued by the Company's computer system and displayed on the screen of the service, the accommodation agreement between the user and the Company is deemed to be established. However, if the reservation number is not displayed on the user's computer screen due to network or system issues, the agreement is still considered established if the user can confirm the reservation details using the Company's "Reservation Inquiry/Change/Cancellation" function.
  3. In such cases, the Company will send a "Reservation Confirmation Email" with the reservation number to the email address provided by the user. However, even if the user fails to receive this email due to network issues or incorrect email address entry not attributable to the Company, the validity of the accommodation agreement shall not be affected.
  4. When an accommodation agreement is formed under this article, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to bear obligations such as cancellation fees as separately defined by the Company.

Article 3 (Concept of Accommodation Fees in the Reservation Service)

  1. Users acknowledge that the availability and accommodation fee information provided by the Company may differ from that on other platforms. The accommodation fee provided by the Company includes consumption tax, but may or may not include service charges or other taxes (such as bathing tax or hotel tax).
  2. Users acknowledge that the accommodation fees provided by the Company may change. The revised fees apply only to users who enter into an accommodation contract after the change, while the original fees apply to users whose contracts were concluded before the change.
  3. If the accommodation fee changes after the contract has been concluded, and the user subsequently changes the reservation details, the revised fee will apply. However, if the change is limited to a reduction in the number of nights or rooms, the original fee shall remain applicable.

Article 4 (Establishment of Reservation Changes/Cancellations and Prohibition of No-Shows)

  1. When canceling a room reservation, the user shall confirm the reservation details through our “Reservation Inquiry Page” and proceed with the cancellation process.
    However, if the user forgets the reservation number necessary to confirm the reservation, or if the confirmation email does not reach the user due to any reason and reservation confirmation becomes difficult or impossible, the user shall request a resend of the reservation confirmation email via our “Resend Reservation Page” and promptly cancel the reservation after receiving the email.
    If the re-sent reservation confirmation email is not received by the user within the designated period for any reason, the user shall contact our designated contact point and proceed with the cancellation procedure.
    If the user neglects these procedures and causes damage to our company, the user shall be responsible for compensating for such damage.
  2. When the user cancels a reservation, the cancellation shall be deemed complete at the point in time specified below.
    1. When the user cancels the reservation via the internet: At the time the “Reservation Cancellation Completed” notice appears on our “Reservation Confirmation Page”
    2. When the user cancels the reservation by directly contacting us: At the time we notify the user that the cancellation has been accepted
    3. In other cases: When we notify the user that the cancellation has been completed in accordance with our specified method
  3. If the user finds they are unable to stay on the scheduled date, they must promptly notify the company and follow its instructions. If the user is liable to pay a cancellation fee, they must pay the fee by the specified method and deadline.
  4. If the user does not show up on the scheduled day without prior notice, it will be treated as a no-show, and we may suspend their use of the reservation service or take other necessary actions (including legal action). The user must pay the cancellation fee by the specified method and deadline.
  5. If the user wishes to change a confirmed reservation, they must promptly contact the company directly and complete the procedure.
  6. A reservation change will be considered complete at the time specified below.
    1. When contacting the company directly: When the company notifies the user that the change has been accepted.
    2. In other cases: When the company confirms the change through its designated method.
  7. Depending on the date the change procedure for a confirmed reservation is carried out, a cancellation fee as determined by the Company may apply. In such cases, the user must pay the cancellation fee by the method and deadline specified by the Company.
  8. Even if the user does not wish to cancel the reservation, the accommodation reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the Company reasonably determines that the reservation may violate laws or is otherwise inappropriate.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

  1. Users shall not reproduce or transmit any information obtained through the accommodation reservation service for any purpose other than personal use without prior approval from the Company, nor allow third parties to use such information in any manner.
  2. When reserving a plan that requires a deposit, the user shall pay the required amount by the deadline specified by the Company. However, failure to pay by the deadline does not result in cancellation of the reservation.
  3. If the user does not pay the deposit despite a reminder sent by the Company via email to the registered contact address, or if contact cannot be made, the user agrees in advance that the Company has the right to deem the reservation canceled without notice. However, until the Company sends a cancellation notice, the reservation shall be considered valid.
  4. Users shall fulfill the contract at their own responsibility, and all inquiries or requests regarding accommodation services shall be made directly to the Company.
  5. In addition to the above, users shall fully understand and comply with the terms and rules separately specified by the Company.
  6. Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the accommodation reservation service.
    1. Impersonating a third party to transmit or post information
    2. Using the accommodation reservation service by means other than those approved by the company
    3. Sending or posting harmful computer programs, spam emails, chain letters, junk mails, etc.
    4. Infringing or potentially infringing on copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the company or third parties
    5. Defaming, slandering, or damaging the reputation of the company or third parties
    6. Publishing to others any information, documents, or images contrary to public order and morals
    7. Registering false or incomplete information regarding the name, address, phone number, email address, etc. of the guest or user, whether intentionally or not
    8. Non-payment of the deposit, cancellation fee, or accommodation fee claimed by the Company (regardless of the reason)
    9. Acts of violence or other nuisance behavior toward the Company or third parties
    10. Making multiple reservations for the same date at different accommodations, or other reservations deemed impossible for the user to fulfill
    11. Reservations recognized as for resale to others or for commercial purposes
    12. Other acts that violate or may violate laws and regulations
  7. If the actions of a user falling under any of the preceding items cause damage to the Company or a third party, the user shall bear all legal responsibility and shall hold the Company harmless.
  8. If the Company cancels a user's room reservation based on Article 6, the user shall pay the cancellation fee to the Company.
  9. If the user has a complaint about the accommodation services provided by the Company, the complaint must be made to the Company on the spot.
  10. If the user is a minor, the user must obtain the consent of a legal guardian to make a reservation. If the user falsely claims to have such consent or falsely claims to be an adult, the reservation cannot be canceled.

Article 6 (Violation of User Compliance Obligations)

  1. If the user violates the compliance obligations stated in the preceding article or is otherwise deemed inappropriate for the operation of the accommodation reservation service, the Company may suspend such conduct, cancel the accommodation contract with the user, suspend the user's access to the service, and take necessary actions, including legal measures.
  2. If the Company reasonably suspects that a user is violating the compliance obligations described in the previous article or otherwise deems the user’s behavior inappropriate for the operation of the service, it may ask the user for clarification regarding the conduct in question.

Article 7 (Temporary Suspension of Accommodation Reservation Service)

We may temporarily suspend the operation of the accommodation reservation service without prior notice to users under the following circumstances.

  1. When performing maintenance or making changes to the service specifications
  2. When natural disasters or other emergencies occur or are likely to occur, making it impossible to operate the service
  3. When we determine that a temporary suspension is necessary due to unavoidable circumstances
